Community Center Seeks Youth Volunteers

The Redlands Community Center is seeking youth volunteers, ages 12 to 17 years old, who would like to volunteer for their community. The City of Redlands’ Recreation Division’s Youth Volunteer Program is a youth volunteer community service organization that teaches leadership through community service. Some community service opportunities may include answering phones, setting up for programs, scorekeeping for games, creating program fliers, assisting with special events, and maintaining program displays. Members gain community service hours that may count toward school and other community service requirements. Members can also qualify for incentive trips throughout the year, as well as earn hours toward their Community Center membership. Meetings are held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. every second and fourth Friday at the Redlands Community Center.
