TownGate Elementary Parents Eager to Learn

TownGate Elementary recently had a turnout of 47 parents for the school’s first Parent Empowerment Workshop entitled, "How to Raise Emotionally Healthy Children." Workshops were held in Spanish and English in the morning and evening. Parents were able to purchase a related book and were given additional materials. Refreshments and babysitting were free. The next training will be held Jan. 29 and will be titled "Health and Fitness." Future topics include “Discipline 101” and “Bullyproofing Our Kids."
