For a record 21st consecutive year, the City of Moreno Valley has received the Excellence in Information Technology Practices Award from the Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC).
The award, given to the City on October 3, honors municipalities that meet strict information technology standards in the public sector. The City of Moreno Valley has received this award more than any other city or public entity in California.
"Moreno Valley's Technology Services Division has always been at the forefront of bringing innovative services to our community," said Mayor Ulises Cabrera. "To win this award 21 years in a row is a great honor and a testament to our consistent excellence. I want to thank MISAC for this award and our TS team for always going above and beyond."
MISAC is a nonprofit with over 1,000 members from cities, towns, and other local government agencies throughout California. MISAC promotes more effective and efficient municipal government through increased cooperation, collaboration, education, and sharing of information technology best practices.
Moreno Valley's award entry underwent a rigorous peer-review process before being selected for this award.
