Two-Vehicle Collision Blocks Mt. Vernon, Canal Street Intersection

Traffic was rerouted from Mt. Vernon Avenue and Canal Street Thursday morning, Nov. 7, after a two-vehicle collision crowded the intersection. San Bernardino County Sheriff's officers from the Grand Terrace station responded to the accident at 7:42 that morning, confirmed San Bernardino County Sheriff's spokeswoman Cindy Bachman. Involved in the accident was a maroon Ford Expedition and a White Nissan Versa. Both cars sustained damage. According to Bachman, medical aid responded to the scene but there were no injuries as a result of the crash. Police reports do not indicate how the collision occurred, shared Bachman.
