The upcoming General Election will hold its last voting date on November 8, 2022. For the city of Colton, there are two candidates running for Council Member- District 3, one is Isaac T. Suchil.

Here is their statement:

Isaac T. Suchil

Retired First Responder

"I am a Serious and Experienced Council Member, and one that will fight for social justice, support or people of color and Imigrants rights.

I have served in Law Enforcement for over 37 years, and I know how accountability of today’s Law Enforcement is very important to our society.

I have resided in Colton for over sixty years, and I am a parishioner at San Salvador Church in South Colton.

I am a Council Member for District 6, and now I would like to serve our new District 3 where I grew up as a child in South Colton.

I want to bring new businesses to our South Colton as I did in district 6.

I want to continue to preserve our La Loma Hills area where I have lived for over 40 years.

Our city needs to provide important government services to our residents, businesses and homeless in a more cost-effective manner by bringing government & businesses together to make Colton the Safest City in San Bernardino County.

With your support we can accomplish a lot in our city, and I hope I have earned your vote. Thank you and God Bless"
