The Grande Ballroom at the Moreno Valley Convention and Recreation Center was packed with locals waiting to hear the Moreno Valley Wind Symphony's second free concert of the season titled "Marches, Movies and Musicals" on Thursday night, Feb. 19.
With the first introductory stains of "Opening Night on Broadway", these talented local musicians gracefully guided the audience through excerpts of recent Cinema selections from Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Into the Woods, Star Wars and Jurassic Park, then onward to Broadway with Seventy-six Trombones, and also into the great Opera era with Verdi's Triumphal March from Aida.
The next free concert will be held April 23 at 7 p.m., in the MVCRC Grande Ballroom located at 14075 Frederick St. corner of Frederick and Alessandro.
