Learning to read and write well early on in school makes a big difference in students’ academic achievement for years to come.
Congratulations are in order for North Ridge Elementary students Evie Ruvalcaba and Broden Black. Broden was presented recently with a Write On With Reading Award from the California Reading Association, for his essay on, “Why I Love to Read”; and first-grader Evie was recognized as an outstanding K-2 student writer by the Inland Empire Reading Council.
