Valley View High School took time recently to recognize 44 students maintaining rolling grade-point averages of at least 3.5 and induct them into the National Honor Society (NHS).
“We want to acknowledge what these kids have accomplished,” explained NHS co-adviser Silvia Rogers.
The event featured a special catered meal for the students, their parents and teachers.
“It’s a privilege that they’ve earned,” said Rogers, who advises alongside Lydia Johansen. “We want them to know that we’re proud of them.”
