SBVC Men’s Soccer sophomore midfielder Miguel Garcia-Rosas will play for Kansas Wesleyan University next season.

SBVC Men’s Soccer sophomore midfielder Miguel Garcia-Rosas (Perris Citrus Hill) has signed a letter of intent to play for Kansas Wesleyan University next season. Garcia-Rosas started in 13 games, grabbing a goal at Desert and another at home versus Victor Valley, while taking 23 shots. Garcia-Rosas will join former SBVC teammates, Juan Maldonado and Jonathan Monroy, at KWU. Under the tutelage of ninth-year coach Josh Brown, SBVC Men's Soccer ended the 2014 regular season having won 7 games. Coach Brown had 6 players named to the All-Conference team, finishing the season with an overall record of 7-8-5 and a 3-2-3 Foothill Conference record. Kansas Wesleyan University is located in Salina, Kansas. The Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes play at Bissell Field, and the team is coached by second-year coach, Phillip Bohn. In the 2014 season, the Coyotes went 8-0-1 in conference play, with an overall record of 15-4-2. The Coyotes lost in the opening round of the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship. KWU is in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference of NAIA.
