Echoes of Love Ministries Church recently hosted its 6th annual community outreach event at Fleming Park, where various community churches came together to spread the word of God and host a family-friendly day featuring a car show, vendors and games.
Families and friends gathered Saturday, Oct. 12, to enjoy a display of old-school hot rod and classic automobiles presented by the Early Pride Car Club and California Undead Car Club; free food and drink booths which served goodies ranging from hot dogs to nachos and snow cones to cotton candy. School supplies were distributed to local youth, and prayer booths were available, welcoming attendees. There were also jump houses and games for the children including bean bag and basketball tosses where every child was a winner.
Free raffles and auctions offered visitors the chance to win gifts like cash, coupons for various services, and bicycles for the children during each intermission of the community event.
With live entertainment and performances from the praise dance group X-Factor and special guest singer-songwriter Pastor Sal Perez, visitors were active in their praise and worship.
Sal Perez, a church pastor who traveled from Tucson, Arizona to participate in the event, explained that he came to share his songs of testimony. He told the audience, “I am not here to entertain you; I am here to lead you to Jesus.”
Pastor John Delarosa of the Echoes of Love Ministries shared, “We all feel extremely blessed and God never ceases to amaze me. The unity of the many churches and community members shows that the love of God is here among all the community brethren. Our goal is to continue to sow the love of God in our lives.”
