Diamond Perry, Kristie Finfrock, Betty Jean White, and Sheila Picart, members of the Heart to Heart Ministry sold lunch at the Craft Fair.

The Oasis Community Church held their first Fall Craft Fair on Sept. 20. The Craft Fair had an array of vendors, many selling homemade and retail items. Amie Griggs, Oasis Fall Craft Fair Coordinator explained, “Usually we have a Winter/Christmas Craft Fair, so this is our first Fall Craft Fair.” Many of the vendors had an assortment of items from homemade jewelry by Leena Shaveroi, to homemade paper decorations by Shannon Sellers. There were also retail vendors such as blu Zebra, a jewelry vendor, by a mother and daughter team, Terry Jones and Teresa Walker. Not only was there unique trinkets and items to browse through at the Craft Fair, but also a lunch that was being served at noon time. Hot dogs, chips, drinks, and some dessert items were being sold by the Heart to Heart Ministry. The ladies from the Heart to Heart Ministry were raising money in support of their cause. The Heart to Heart Ministry at the Oasis Church provides support and prayer to seniors at assisted living centers and even do house visits for people in need. When the ministry does visits to community members, they bring small gifts with them to uplift the spirits of the people they are helping. Events such as the Craft Fair give these ladies the opportunity to raise money for the gifts they bring.
