The Moreno Valley Community Park was packed with tents from different organizations and businesses providing information regarding activities for small kids, the youth, and even adults.

On Saturday, Sept. 13 the City of Moreno Valley Parks and Recreation held the annual Youth Fest at the Moreno Valley Community Park. This was a chance for businesses to offer information to the youth on how they can be involved. For instance just to list a few, the Moreno Valley Public Library has Teen Night every Wednesday and the City Council Chambers is looking for young teens to get involved in the community. It was not simply limited to the youth, there were also various booths that had free fun activities for the children as well. There was face painting, a jumper, and much more. Food vendors were also there selling tacos, lemonade, and other snacks. There was also performances from various age groups. There was hip-hop dance group, ballet dancers, cheerleaders, Zumba, folklorico, and many others. There was karate performances and Chase, the dog, that did tricks. In addition, they were raffling small prizes as well. Overall, this was a great approach to inform the youth and adults on the ways be get involved. Riyun Rodriguez, senior from Moreno Valley High School said, "It's a great way to bring the community closer together and help support businesses."
