VVHS Videographers Win Award for Best Script

Valley View High School EaglePro Productions produces a winner.

Congratulations again goes to the student videographers at Valley View High School. At the Directing Change Awards ceremony at the Fox Theater in Downtown Riverside, the team of Leslie Ponce, Shahriyar Mustafiz, Christian Aguilar and Erick Fernandez won the award for “Best Script” for their suicide-prevention public service announcement, “Save Me.” The VVHS team's production was one of 93 entrees in this category. The Directing Change video contest is part of statewide efforts to prevent suicide, reduce stigma and discrimination related to mental illness, and to promote the mental health and wellness of students.
