Firefighters Extinguish Blaze at Local Mexican Restaurant

Riverside County Fire Department and CAL Fire personnel extinguished a fire that broke out early Friday morning, Jan. 3, at a Mexican restaurant in Moreno Valley. Firefighters arriving at the scene at 3:06 a.m. Friday morning reported seeing smoke coming from the back of the Taqueria Guadalupena restaurant, located in a strip mall at 25073 Sunnymead Blvd., according to a Riverside County Fire Department incident report. Reports show no one was injured in the fire.
