Could the stakes have been any higher? As Vista del Lago and Moreno Valley high schools' football teams battled it out recently for the Mountain Valley League championship, the two schools' principals had a friendly side challenge going. The principal whose team came out on the short end would wear the other team's jersey for a day. The Ravens came out on top, so Vista del Lago Principal Janelle Woodward presented Moreno Valley High School Principal Bob Brough with his new Ravens jersey, which he plans to wear soon. "Some of my students are already looking forward to teasing me about it," he said. But Principal Woodward isn't rubbing it in. "Bob's such a great sport," she said. "This has been a fun rivalry all season." Having finished first and second in league, both teams are now headed to the playoffs.
