The Garcia Center for the Arts in San Bernardino recently held a vibrant Día de los Muertos celebration, uniting the community, local businesses, and families from the Inland Empire in a heartfelt homage to lost loved ones and a joyful celebration of cultural heritage.
Attendees were greeted by beautifully adorned altars, & ofrendas, where families shared stories and memories of those they have lost, creating a space of remembrance and reflection.
The event featured live music, with Anomaly Productive, a beautiful band providing flute , drums and original lyrics of healing and love amongst the event goers , there was traditional dance performances, and an array of delicious food offerings that showcased the rich culinary traditions of the region. Local artisans displayed their handcrafted works, adding a unique flair to the festivities.
The gathering not only honored the spirits of the departed but also fostered a sense of community, deepening connections and celebrating the vibrant culture that binds the people of the Inland Empire together.
