LLUH Donates 15000 to San Bernardino Police

Loma Linda University Health recently presented a check to the San Bernardino Police Department for $15,000. The funds will be used toward the purchase of safety equipment, of which the department has had a shortage. “In light of the San Bernardino terrorist attack,” said Trevor Wright, COO, LLUMC, “we want to do our part to ensure the safety of those who selflessly put their lives on the line for us every day. We are honored to help the San Bernardino Police Department, and we want to do whatever we can to strengthen our partnership in providing care and protection for our community.” Chief of Police Jarrod Burguan and assistant chief, Eric McBride accepted the check on behalf of SBPD during a brief meeting on Friday, Jan. 29 on the Loma Linda University Health campus.
