Jenco Productions, Inc., based in San Bernardino, CA, has changed its print and packaging productions to focus on manufacturing protective face shields and is now producing more than 100,000 daily. Operating since 1995, Jenco is a one-stop shop for creative, full service bindery, finishing, digital printing, fulfillment and mailing, and production services. However, given today’s COVID-19 crisis and the lack of personal protective gear, owner Jennifer Imbriani, saw a need and way to help the medical community across the United States while keeping people employed at the same time. “I felt like it was our calling to help during this national emergency,” said Imbriani. “Not only are we grateful to assist those on the front line, we’ve also hired additional team members to keep up with our demand for these full facial shields.”  The shields are made out of FDA approved medical grade materials and are being used by medical centers, hospitals, and dental offices across the country. As opposed to cloth coverings, the full-face mask design provides complete coverage, protecting the sides of the face as well as the eyes, mouth, and nose and also prevents people from touching their face. They are lightweight and easy to sanitize with any type of alcohol-based product or dishwashing soap. With millions having been shipped across the United States, including to The White House and numerous medical centers such as Montefiore Medical Center in New York and Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, Jenco now wants to provide the public with the opportunity to order protective facial shields direct from their manufacturing plant here in the USA. “Our facility is setup for large quantity business-to-business orders and not typically direct to consumer, however, I wanted to make available a safer, more affordable facial mask than currently on the market for consumers as well. So, we have lowered the quantity for minimum orders to 100,” said Imbriani. Prices for the face shields range from $1.80 to $2.95 each depending on the quantity ordered.
