Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino (FARSB) appoints Danielle Oehlman, Director of Stater Bros. Charities, as the newest member of its Board of Directors. As she begins her 2-year term, Oehlman joins the board as the sole grocery chain representative on the food bank’s Board of Directors.
“We are so excited to welcome Danielle to our board,” said Stephanie Otero, CEO at FARSB. “Danielle has been a tremendous ally in the fight against hunger for many years, and we know her commitment will truly shine as a member of our Board of Directors.”
With over ten years of experience at Stater Bros. Charities, Oehlman assumed her current role as Director of Stater Bros. Charities in 2020. A passionate nonprofit leader dedicated to building a more robust, resilient community of San Bernardino, Oehlman has proven herself an advocate in action in both the public and private sectors. Oehlman achieved record-breaking fundraising success and implemented streamlined grant management processes at Stater Bros. Charities.
“As an Inland Empire native, I’m incredibly humbled and honored to join the FARSB Board of Directors to further the fight against hunger in our communities. This cause is near and dear to my heart, as I’ve seen firsthand the impact FARSB has had on countless lives who struggle with food insecurity,” said Oehlman. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside the passionate and dedicated board of directors, staff, and volunteers to ensure our vulnerable neighbors and communities continue to thrive.”
The Board of Directors is responsible for the oversight of finances, management, and performance of FARSB and commits to serving in a voluntary, non-executive capacity. Letters of interest to join the FARSB Board of Directors are accepted on a rolling basis.
