Colton Area Museum and Historical Society Installs New Officers Board Members

Last month, the Colton Area Museum Association and Historical Society held their annual general membership meeting and installation of new officers and board members for the 2013–2014 years. Past President Larry Sheffield installed Mike Murphy as president, Barbara Jones as vice president, Pam Gregory as secretary, Marian Murphy as treasurer and Mike Elam was welcomed as a new board member. Outgoing past president and board member Carrie Hetrick was also thanked and honored at the ceremony with a plaque of recognition for her six years of service on the board. Ongoing board members are Joyse Ann Evans, Eddie Gutierrez, Evelyn Patrick and City Representative Edward Pedroza, with the Colton Library. After the ceremony, those in attendance enjoyed a light dinner.
