The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) San Diego Regional Office has opened a benefits office in Moreno Valley to provide direct support to approximately 128,680 Veterans in Riverside County with Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment and Compensation and Benefit services. The Moreno Valley Office is open to Veterans and active duty service members, including members of the National Guard and the Army Reserve. If eligible, Veterans may receive vocational rehabilitation and employment services to help with job training, employment options, resume development, and job seeking skills. Other services may be provided to assist Veterans in starting their own businesses, or with independent living services for those who are severely disabled and unable to work in traditional employment. Veterans may also be entitled to compensation and benefits for post-service disabilities that are considered related or secondary to disabilities occurred in service and for disabilities presumed to be related to circumstances of military service, even though they may arise after service. This new VA Moreno Valley Office, located at 23207 Sunnymead Boulevard, Moreno Valley, CA 92533 is approximately 2,000 square feet and can support up to six full-time employees. Currently, the office is staffed with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, who are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and a Military Service Coordinator, who is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
