Grandparents of Seneca Elementary School students were welcomed to school with juice, donuts and a photo booth on Monday in honor of Grandparents’ Day. The school’s students then had the opportunity to show off their classrooms so the grandparents could see how Project Moving Forward, a school-wide vocabulary program, is helping Seneca Elementary School close the achievement gap. Seneca Elementary is a Project Moving Forward Demonstration School. The students and grandparents learned and worked together as part of the program that targets language and literacy development.

Seneca Elementary School Welcomes Grandparents to School
