REDLANDS >> On Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, Maestro Ransom Wilson conducts the Redlands Symphony in an all-MOZART concert, highlighted by Wilson performing the great master’s Flute Concerto in G, K 313. The concert is set for 8 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel on the campus of the University of Redlands. Doors open at 7 p.m. and there will be a pre-concert talk beginning at 7:30 p.m. The evening’s program begins with The Impresario Overture by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and continues with the composer’s Serenata notturna, K. 239. Wilson will then perform Mozart’s Flute Concerto in G, K. 313. Wilson is an internationally celebrated flute player in addition to being the orchestra’s music director and principal conductor.
