SBCUSD Announces Free Native American Family Culture Nights

The San Bernardino City Unified School District is offering free family activities as part of its Title VII American Indian Education Family Culture Nights. During Family Culture Nights, local families can participate in free arts and crafts activities while learning about Native American cultures. The 2013-2014 school year marks the 25-year celebration of the program. Just in time for the holidays, families can make painted ornaments at the Tuesday, Dec. 10 class. Additional Family Culture Nights are Feb. 4 and 18; March 4; April 1, 15, and 29; and May 13, 2014. Meetings are held on designated Tuesday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. at the San Manuel Village on the corner of Highland Avenue and Boulder. The meeting room is at 27995 Highland Avenue, Suite 100.
