Dear Moreno Valley Residents,
As we go through life, we inevitably ask ourselves, “What kind of legacy am I leaving behind?”
It could be a legacy defined by family, bravery, or success. Moreno Valley’s legacy is defined by service.
I invite you to join me, the Moreno Valley City Council, and dignitaries across Riverside County as we hold the annual State of the City address on Thursday, August 18, at 11 a.m.
This year’s State of the City theme is “Legacy of Service.” Throughout my address, I will touch upon all the incredible things we have done to ensure Moreno Valley remains the crown jewel of the Inland Empire. We’ll also recognize leaders who have left legacies of community service, public safety, and education.
In 2022, we welcomed new world-class businesses and dedicated millions of dollars to bolster our public safety initiatives. We have broken ground on exciting future projects and opened more parks and trails for Moreno Valley residents of all ages to enjoy.
And most notably, we’re dedicating a historic $50 million to repaving nearly 190 miles of road across our beautiful City in 18 months. This monumental project will begin later this month.
Together, we’ve accomplished so much to create a lasting legacy for future generations of Moreno Valley residents.
I’m excited to highlight our progress in the past year and give you a preview of what’s to come in the City Where Dreams Soar.
The State of the City address will take place at the Conference and Recreation Center, located at 14075 Frederick Street. You can also view our ceremony live online, on YouTube, and on MV3.
Tickets are available at mvsotc.com. Let’s celebrate Moreno Valley together!
