Inland Empire Job Corps Center Gets a New Center Director

Inland Empire Job Corps Center recently welcomed Suzanne Schaeffer as the Center Director in San Bernardino. Schaeffer, a native of the State of Hawaii, started her career with MTC and Job Corps in 2001 at the Waimanalo Site (main Hawaii JCC campus) as an instructor in the Academic Department. She went on to become its manager from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, when MTC and Chugach won the Long Beach contract, Suzanne was promoted to Career Services Director responsible for all subcontracted programs operations for MTC at the facility. In 2010 she transferred to the Inland Empire Job Corps to become its Programs Director. Suzanne has a record of excellent performance at the three centers she has served. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Hawaii and is a graduate of MTC’s Management Development and Executive Development Programs.
