Looking to improve your employability and wage-potential? Now is the time to apply to and register for classes at Crafton Hills College (CHC), with classes beginning on January 19th.
"We offer a wide array of educational and training programs that lead to certificates, associate degrees, and transfer to four-year universities," said CHC President Dr. Kevin Horan. "If you are a first-generation college student, a recent high school graduate, an undocumented Dreamer, a single parent returning to school after an extended absence, a foster youth, a veteran, an honor student, a disabled student, or someone seeking to continue your lifelong pursuit of learning, we welcome you, we believe in you, and we want you to be successful."
With affordable tuition, small class sizes, qualified professors, and flexible scheduling, now is a great time to begin, continue, or complete your college education at Crafton Hills College. The College offers more than 50 degree programs and 25 career certificate programs. Many of the certificates at CHC also include an Associate Degree for Transfer, guaranteeing students transfer to a California State University with upper division standing and all credits accepted. Enrollment fees are just $46 a unit.
Students with a degree or certificate from a California community college nearly double their earnings within three years, according to statistics from CHC. And, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, occupations that typically require workers to have an associate degree for entry have an average annual wage of almost $53,000, compared to an average annual wage of $36,100 for workers in high school-level occupations.
Classes for the spring semester will be offered in remote, online, hybrid and limited in-person offerings. Unlike other community colleges in the area, most of CHC's classes are being offered synchronously, providing students direct real-time interaction with instructors. Hotspots and Chromebooks are available for enrolled students to check out from the library and free online tutoring is available for most subjects. Apply and register online at craftonhills.edu.
