Palm Middle School Leadership Students and Program Recognized

Students in the Leadership class at Palm Middle School got a nice surprise recently when they were invited by the California Association of Student Leaders (CASL) to participate in the CASL annual state conference next month in San Jose. Palm has also been named a finalist for CASL’s Outstanding Leadership Program Award: “Palm’s student leaders have participated in professional training, provided their peers with a voice in administration, united the campus with common experiences, used traditions to create a sense of pride and belonging, promoted achievement, offered safe and inclusive social opportunities, encouraged a culture of service, honored diversity, communicated vision clearly, concentrated on character education, and created lasting connections among the students of their school…” Palm’s Leadership class is led by teacher Anthony Rogers.
