The School Board recently recognized and congratulated these three young scholars on their outstanding performance, and for being named National Merit Commended Students.

About 1.5 million students took the 2013 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Two MVUSD students, Valley View’s Wesley Poon and Jacob Barkley, finished in the top 5% in the nation; Canyon Springs’ Matthew Nieburger (right) finished among the top 3%.
