Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

2022 has already been an exciting year for Moreno Valley. We’re opening new businesses, beautifying our parks, and dedicating millions of dollars toward maintaining our fantastic quality of life.

This week, we have two events that emphasize the hard work we’re doing to put Moreno Valley on the map.

On Friday, February 11 at 1 p.m., join the City Council and I at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the brand-new Perris Pavilion food hall. This dynamic multi-use space is a testament to how we’re thinking outside the box to bring a multitude of shopping and dining options to Moreno Valley.

It will be a great event, and I can’t wait to see you there.

The following day, on Saturday, February 12, at 8 a.m., we’ll be hosting one of my favorite City events, our Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service.

These community service events showcase the strong sense of community pride in Moreno Valley. At our last Community Day of Service held in November, hundreds of resident volunteers came together to plant trees, paint curbs, and rake leaves at Celebration Park and Towngate Memorial Park.

This time, we’ll be maintaining the beauty of Gateway Park and Morrison Park. We’re expecting a huge turnout, so make sure you join in on the fun. Visit moval.org/beautify today to sign up.

With these events and more, 2022 is shaping into one of the best years ever for the City Where Dreams Soar.
