This week’s winner, Chris Witham, resident of Cathedral City, heard about the City News Group Sweepstakes from a friend while they were having lunch at one of the sweepstakes’ participating restaurants, Vicky’s.
Witham has won a free weekly gift, but he is still eligible to win the grand prize of $1,000 on December 3. Witham was excited to win a gift from Domino’s and already knows how he will share his prize.
“This is great,” said Witham. “I’m going to buy some pizzas to give to people who are well-deserved, who are changing their lives and being productive people in the world.”
Witham mentioned that he has some medical issues, including P.T.S.D. and a brain injury, but this does not stop him from giving back. Witham helps out at 20 different charities including synagogues, churches, halfway houses and the Salvation Army.
“I’m either going to the hospital or volunteering at these charities,” said Witham. “I’m making the best out of every day, God is good and I’m happy to be alive.”
