The Living Word Inland Empire church in Grand Terrace was alive with excitement as Mayor Bill Hussey and Mayor Protem Michelle Sabino were on site for the long-awaited ribbon-cutting ceremony of their new playground. This special event marked a significant milestone for the community, bringing together families and children to celebrate the unveiling of a vibrant new space designed for play and joy.

As the day began, anticipation filled the air. The community gathered around as leaders made speeches, highlighting the importance of the playground for local children and families. When the moment finally arrived, the red ribbon was cut, signifying the official opening of the playground. In an epic display of enthusiasm, children dashed through the gates, their laughter and cheers echoing as they rushed to explore their new play area. The sight of their joy was truly heartwarming, symbolizing the community's commitment to nurturing the lives of its youngest members.

Pastor of Living Word Inland Empire expressed immense gratitude to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life, stating, “We just want to thank everyone who was a part of this vision for our LW kids playground—from social media to socializing initiative here at Living Word Inland Empire. We are so grateful for home-depot for sponsoring our playground equipment, Hemet Fence company for sponsoring our fence, and for all of you who have contributed towards this vision. We also would like to say thank you to Mayor Bill Hussey for always supporting us in anything we do. We are grateful to him and the City of Grand Terrace that we get to serve our community. The kids had an amazing time today. We can't wait to see the effect on their lives.”

The event was a beautiful display of community spirit, as congregation members and local residents embraced one another, expressing their appreciation for the collaborative efforts that made the playground a reality. With the support of local businesses and community leaders, this playground aims to foster connections, providing a safe and joyful space for children to play and learn.

As the sun set on this memorable day, the playground stood as a beacon of hope and laughter, promising countless moments of happiness for the future. Excitement buzzed in the air, and the community looks forward to more initiatives that enhance the well-being of its residents, especially the children. The Living Word Inland Empire playground is not just a place to play; it represents the power of unity and dedication to creating a thriving community.
