Dear Moreno Valley Residents,

The City of Moreno Valley appreciates and recognizes our first responders. As Mayor, I'm grateful to the hardworking men and women who keep our City a safe and beautiful place to live.

I would like you to meet these dedicated public servants during our annual Public Safety Expo on Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Moreno Valley Civic Center.

The Public Safety Expo is a free and fun community event that draws thousands of MoVal residents each year to our Civic Center.

It's a Moreno Valley signature event!

We will turn Calle San Juan de Los Lagos into a street fair with good food, fun games, and exciting demonstrations. Make sure to have your cameras ready!

Participants will have the chance to get to know Moreno Valley’s finest and bravest police officers, firefighters, and military personnel and witness a spectacular display of policing techniques, fire suppression, rescue procedures, and so much more.

The Expo also features hands-on exhibits, where you can explore the heavy-duty equipment our police and fire personnel use daily. If you’re considering a law enforcement career, the Public Safety Expo is the perfect event to take that first step.

Moreno Valley's Public Safety Expo is the perfect way to spend a beautiful Moreno Valley day with your family and community.

Photo Caption: Crime in San Bernardino has dropped by 30 percent or more throughout the city. One reason is that there are more officers on the streets. The Police Department’s goal is to have 350 sworn officers. Current full-time staffing is reported at 295 sworn officers and 156 professional staff.
