LifeHouse Theater presents the exploits of Diego de la Vega as he assumes the mysterious identity of the cunning fox crusading for justice in the days of Spanish California. Suspenseful swordfights combine with romance and comedy for a musical adventure signed with the “Z” of Zorro. This original adaptation of “Zorro” is written by LifeHouse Theater founder and president Wayne R. Scott and directed by Zach Simons. Joining Simons in staging this production are music director Jeremy Yeo, choreographers Anaiah Simons and Lupita Limon, set designer Tim Mahoney and costumer Machir Lakofka. “Thanks to Zorro Productions, Inc., our presentation of this fun original musical is an unprecedented opportunity for both LifeHouse and our audiences,” said Scott. “LifeHouse Theater is the only theater in America that has been authorized to originate and produce a new musical of Zorro in recent memory.” “Zorro” features Jordan Crother as Diego de la Vega/Zorro, Diana Handy as The Balladeer, Duane Crother as Alejandro de la Vega, Jeremy Prince as Bernardo, Ivy Manson as Maria Torres, John Hallenbeck as Sgt. Garcia, Taylor A. Joseph as Gallindo, David Hurley as the Padre, Jeremy Yeo as Ruiz, Lyle Kimble as Capitan Cabrillo, Burrell Handy as Capitan Mendoza and Greg Durgin as Miguel Escalante.
