County Holds Mental Health Services Stakeholder Meetings

San Bernardino County residents interested in the public mental health service delivery system, learning about the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) and participating in the Annual Update for the 2015-2016 fiscal year are invited to participate in upcoming Mental Health Services Act Annual Update Stakeholder meetings. The public meetings series will take place throughout San Bernardino County to promote community participation regarding the annual update for the 2015-2016 fiscal year and discuss topics for future mental health policy and program planning. Funded by a 1 percent tax surcharge on personal income over $1 million a year, Prop 63 - the Mental Health Services Act - was passed by voters in November 2004 to help expand mental health services for children and adults. The Third District Advisory Committee Meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 17 from 11 a.m. to noon at Our Place - Clubhouse located at 721 Nevada St., Suite 205, in Redlands.
