As of 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, Nov. 5, Moreno Valley's Measure I for Moreno Valley Council Term Limits was passed with a 78.89 percent Yes vote and a 21.11 percent No vote, with a total 14,403 votes. Moreno Valley's Measure R for an elected mayor was passed with a 73.56 percent Yes vote and a 26.44 percent No vote, with a total 14,252 votes. Moreno Valley's Measure S for a two-year term for mayor passed with a 61.45 percent Yes vote and a 38.55 percent No vote, with a total 14,138 votes. Moreno Valley's Measure T for a four-year term for mayor failed with a 62.13 percent No vote and a 37.87 Yes vote, with 13,986 total votes.
As of 10 a.m. Nov. 5, pproximately 66,000 Vote-by-Mail, 19,000 Provisional and 8,000 damaged ballots that require duplication still must be processed, according to the County of Riverside Registrar of Voters website. Work on those begins today, with the next updated results posted at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6.
