ALL>> LifeHouse Theater recently announced, StageRight Acting Classes,  a series of summer art classes designed to teach children and young people the aspects of theatrical stagecraft from auditions to performances.

Acclaimed local actor, choreographer, director and instructor Michael Milligan returns to lead this educational outreach for LifeHouse Theater.

“Michael Milligan had done some amazing work with the classes over the last five years,” commented LifeHouse Theater President Wayne Scott.  “The combination of Michael’s teaching skills with the quality and values people have come to expect from LifeHouse Theater create classes that are truly unique in the Inland Empire.”

There will be two separate classes offered for different age groups.  StageRight Junior is tailored for students ages 6-10.  StageRight Senior will be a more comprehensive course for students 11 and up.  Classes begin June 26, 2017 and will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through July 21, culminating in performances for the public on Monday and Tuesday evening, July 24 and 25.

The classes (including the presentation) will take place at LifeHouse Theater and the LifeHouse Studio in Redlands.  StageRight Junior will meet from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. while StageRight Senior meets from 2pm to 4pm.  The courses cost $150 for the Junior class and $200 for the Senior class.

Parents may register their children for classes through the LifeHouse Theater Box Office over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling 335-3037.  Parents may also register in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends.
