Volunteer of the Year Award Nominations Open

COLTON >> The Colton Recreation & Parks Commission and the Colton Community Services Department are proud to announce the new Volunteer of the Year award. The Volunteer of the Year award will be presented to an outstanding individual who has gone above and beyond in giving back to the community through volunteer service within the City of Colton. Nominees for this award devote their time and talent assisting a local community based organization, non-profit group, or public agency in reaching their objective, providing a valuable public service. Nominations will be accepted from Monday, March 21 – Friday, April 30, 2016. Nomination criteria and forms are available from the Colton Community Services Department, located at the Gonzales Center, 670 Colton Avenue and online at www.coltonca.gov. The Recreation & Parks Commission will consider nominations at the May 18 Commission Meeting and recognized by City Council at a council meeting and at the City’s Birthday Celebration on July 9, 2016.
