SAN BERNARDINO>> On Thursday, Dec.1, 2016, Sgt. T. Branske was working patrol in the county areas of San Bernardino. Branske assisted Deputy B. Ortiz on a residential burglary alarm. Upon arriving at the location, Branske observed several suspects running away from the residence. Deputies checked the residence and discovered the home had been burglarized. Branske coordinated a perimeter of the area utilizing Central Station deputies, Highland Station deputies and Sheriff's airship 40 King. Deputies conducted an extensive search of the area and located three juvenile suspects who were involved in the home burglary. Additionally, deputies conducted a thorough search of the area and were able to recover thousands of dollars worth of electronics and jewels stolen from the residence. The suspects had attempted to hide some of the property in an easement near the location. Residents played a critical role in the location and identification of the suspects. Two of the three juveniles were found to have additional stolen jewelry, from another residential burglary, on their person. The juveniles were subsequently booked at the San Bernardino Juvenile Detention Center for PC 459 Burglary and PC 182 (a)(1) Conspiracy. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Central station at (909)387-3545. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are urged to call We-Tip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME(27463), or you may leave information on the website at www.wetip.com.
