RFD Engineer Named Fire & Burn Foundation Volunteer of the Year

Engineer Matthew Ley with his wife Amanda. Ley was awarded the 2013 Volunteer of the Year for his efforts to support the Fire & Burn Foundation by way of fundraising. He and a group of firefighters are also beginning on another charity event that will benefit the Foundation.

A golf cart with a fire theme was raffled off to support the Fire & Burn Foundation. A raffle for the custom golf cart, designed and customized by a team led by Engineer Matthew Ley, raised almost $10,000 for the foundation.
