Deputies Arrest Woman in Muscoy for Stealing Car

SAN BERNARDINO>> On Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at approximately 2:12 p.m., Deputy A. Lopez, from the Sheriff's Central Station, was flagged down in the area of Conejo Drive and Ralston Avenue. The reporting party stated her vehicle was stolen sometime during the night and would like to report it stolen. During the investigation, the reporting party received information the stolen vehicle may be in the Muscoy area. Deputies responded to the area of Highland Avenue and State Street and located the vehicle with a female getting into the driver seat. Deputies conducted a felony traffic stop and took the female into custody. The female, identified as Krystal Gonzalez, was on felony probation out of Los Angeles County, for VC 10851 Vehicle Theft. The vehicle was fully recovered and returned to the owner. Gonzalez did not have permission to have the vehicle and was arrested for PC 496D(A) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and booked into Central Detention Center.
