Lyman, A Staged Reading by Anne Johnstonbrown

The Grove Theatre is proud to announce Lyman, a staged reading by Anne Johnstonbrown, and guest starring Ted Lange of Love Boat. This play, which takes place on May 15 at 6:00 p.m., tells the story of a man named Lyman, the choices he makes, and how they impact his Destiny, as well as the Destinies of those around him. Each scene represents a different Destiny of Lyman Liri based on a choice he makes at a universal point in time. The choice is always told from the perspective of someone who knew him. When Lyman chooses one direction over another, the consequences are often dramatic. In some scenarios he's famous, and in others he sleeps on the streets. One thing is a constant: Lyman, the man, never changes. Through Lyman, we learn that even though our choices may alter our Destiny, it doesn't change who we really are. In every circumstance, the hero lies within us. We need only let him rise. Tickets are $10 general admission and are free for Veterans with ID. Tickets can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, by visiting The Grove box office or on our website at www.grovetheatre.com. The Grove Theatre is located at 276 E. Ninth Street, Upland, CA 91786.
