The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter has everything you need for your four-legged friends.

The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is the premier animal services provider in Riverside County. Our staffers work hard around the clock to ensure Moreno Valley's pets receive the utmost care. Services include low-cost microchipping, regular low-cost adoption events, a foster pet program, an active animal rescue program, and so much more.

Moreno Valley Animal Services has partnered with DocuPet to provide an enhanced pet licensing experience for residents. Your pet’s license now includes DocuPet’s free HomeSafe™24/7 lost pet service and designer license tags with personalization options.

And the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter's TNR program, in operation since 2015, receives humanely captured feral cats and conducts spay and neuter operations to reduce unwanted behaviors in free-roaming cats, reduce rodent populations in neighborhoods, and help control the cat population in Moreno Valley. Since the program began, the Shelter has serviced over 3,100 of our feline friends! Moreno Valley provides these vital initiatives so our community and our cats continue to thrive.

The Moreno Valley Community Vet Care clinic is open to the public. Run by Dr. Nicholas Storey, DVM, Dr. Joey Cowan, DVM, and associates, the clinic offers a full range of veterinary services for your pet’s medical needs including pet vaccinations and routine or emergency treatment.

The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is located at 14041 Elsworth Street, between Cactus and Alessandro. Visit moval.org/pets for more information.
