SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. - In a chilling turn of events, an 18-year-old student from Eastvale, identified as Sebastian Villasenor, has been charged with multiple felony offenses following an alarming discovery by authorities of his alleged plan to execute an active shooter attack at Ontario Christian High School.

The San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office wasted no time in taking swift action after receiving information about Villasenor's purported intentions. On February 14, 2024, the District Attorney's Office officially filed charges against Villasenor, who now faces a barrage of severe accusations.

According to the District Attorney's Office, Villasenor stands accused of one count of PC664/422 for Attempted Criminal Threats and a staggering five counts of PC664/187 for Attempted Murder. The charges underscore the gravity of the situation and the potential devastation that could have ensued had the alleged plot not been foiled in time.

The crucial intervention that prevented what could have been a catastrophic incident is attributed to the prompt and thorough response of the Ontario Police Department. Additionally, the courage displayed by a vigilant student who voiced concerns played an instrumental role in averting a potential tragedy. Authorities emphasize the critical importance of remaining vigilant and proactive in identifying and reporting any suspicious activities or threats.

In light of these events, the San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office issued a reminder to residents across the county emphasizing the seriousness of active shooter threats. The adage "see something, say something" rings truer than ever, serving as a call to action for community members to remain vigilant and report any potential threats promptly.

Sebastian Villasenor currently remains in custody pending further legal proceedings. He is scheduled for arraignment on February 15, 2024, at the Rancho Cucamonga Superior Courthouse, specifically in department R16. The legal process will unfold as authorities work to ensure accountability and justice in this alarming case.

As the community grapples with the unsettling revelation of such a sinister plot, residents are reminded of the importance of unity, vigilance, and cooperation in safeguarding against potential threats to public safety.
