While students and most staff were enjoying the last week of winter break, campus supervisors were back in class for four days of training designed to improve safety and security for the students and staff of Moreno Valley Unified School District.
During the training, campus supervisors received important professional development in the following areas: role and responsibility of campus security; laws and liability; security awareness in the educational environment; mediation/conflict resolution; disasters and emergencies; and dynamics of student behavior.
“The training was very well-received,” said MVUSD Director of Safety & Security Darryl Scott. “Our campus supervisors are very enthusiastic and eager to improve their skills to better protect and serve our students and staff."
