COLTON>> It is that time of year where the Christmas spirit takes over, spreading joy and goodwill toward the fellow man. One of the best ways to get into the Christmas spirit for the City of Colton could be to attend the Chamber of Commerce annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. traveling down La Cadena from O to C Street. The parade will be filled with organizations in the community of Colton representing the theme which is “Peace on Earth begins with Colton.” From dancers to parade floats, the parade will offer a variety of family entertainment and special appearances by mascots from organizations will be present at the parade. Also, some of the parade floats will be competing in a contest. “The Colton Chamber Christmas Parade is the biggest parade, the City of Colton, our Community all come together for this parade. Everyone looks forward to this day,” said Chetay Catalano, Executive Director for the Colton Chamber of Commerce. After the parade, the community is invited to enjoy live entertainment, food, craft vendors and a fun zone for kids and adults to enjoy at Fleming Park. Fleming Park is located at 525 N La Cadena Dr, Colton, CA 92324.
