Parks and Community Services Accepting Child-care Applications for “A Child's Place” After-school Program

Moreno Valley Parks and Community Services Department is accepting child-care applications for “A Child’s Place” after-school program at the following school sites: Armada, Creekside, and Sunnymead Elementary Schools (Moreno Valley Unified School District); and Rainbow Ridge Elementary School (Val Verde School District). Child-care services are available for children in kindergarten through age 12.
Child care is provided after school until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The program provides daily homework tutoring, arts and crafts, nutritious snacks, and recreational activities for children throughout the school year. The fee for the program is free or at a reduced rate according to the family’s income and size. Parents must either be working or attending school to qualify for services.
