"We are so happy that the Weingart Foundation has recognized the needs of this community and are supporting our work to solve homelessness by ensuring our operations management and fundraising reaches the next level," said Kim Carter, executive director. "Without commitment and support of the Weingart Foundation we would not be able to provide essential services to our clients." According to the Weingart Foundation, "We are committed to focusing our resources on activities that produce results. This involves funding organizations that demonstrate ability and commitment to achieving strong governance, leadership, management and effective practices, along with clearly-defined organizational and program objectives that are consistent with our mission and focus."
