LifeHouse Theater is pleased to present the return for one night only, the original musical “Helen Keller."  The production is part of the Sunday Night Special series.

This riveting true story of Annie Sullivan’s determination to bring a world of language and learning to the deaf and blind Helen is an inspirational study of perseverance under pressure.    In overcoming both blindness and deafness, Helen Keller’s courage has been an encouragement to millions of people throughout the world. This original musical highlights the Keller family's struggle to help Helen find her path in this world.

“Helen Keller” will be presented for one night only, Sunday, June 24 at 7:00 PM.  Advance ticket prices are $16 for adults and $9 for children ages 3-11 and can be purchased over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling (909) 335-3037 or online at www.boxoffice.lifehousetheater.com.  Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends.  Tickets are $2 more the day of the performance. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as seats are limited.

Current LifeHouse Theater season passholders can purchase adult tickets for $10.

“Our guests have been clamoring for the return of this inspiration musical,” comments LifeHouse president Wayne Scott.   “We are excited to be able to once again present this tale to a new generation.  We trust her story to be an inspiration and light the path of our own individual journeys."

Directed by Katrina Cavarno, “Helen Keller” features Sophia Tucker in the title role, with Karisa Harriman as Annie Sullivan.  The cast also include Jennifer M. DeWitt as Kate Keller, Jacob Williams as Captain Arthur Keller and Cavarno as Mrs. Bourn.  Costumes for the production are by Tiffany Gridley.

On select Sunday nights, LifeHouse Theater presents special one-act productions, both plays and musicals, ranging from dramatic to comedic and from inspirational to hilarious.  Each Sunday Night Special will be presented for either one or two night only engagements. LifeHouse Theater’s next Sunday Night Special will be an evening of magic and illusionary mayhem with “Zac and Zach: Back to Back" on September 16, 2018.

The theater is located at 1135 N. Church St. in Redlands, next to the Redlands Christian School.  Free parking is available in back of the theater.
