MORENO VALLEY>> The Moreno Valley Police Department partnered with Better Be Donuts at 12266 Perris Blvd. this week to host a Coffee with a Cop event.
Residents had the opportunity to talk with officers about their community and ask questions in a casual setting. Officers also showed residents their police vehicles and equipment.
Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative supported by the United States Department of Justice and the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. Police departments across the country hold similar events as the law enforcement community works to make lasting connections with the communities they serve.
